Jenna Kedy
Jenna Kedy is a 21-year-old advocate and chronic illness warrior from Halifax, Nova Scotia who turns lived experience into leadership. Living with arthritis, fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression, and a learning disability, and proudly identifying as disabled and neurodivergent, Jenna has spent the past seven years shaping healthcare spaces locally, nationally, and internationally. She is a Patient Partner, Youth Partner with IMPaCT Trials where she loves mentoring, and collaborates with organizations like IWK Health Centre, Healthcare Excellence Canada, the Canadian Medical Association, University Health Network, and more. A septic shock survivor and powerful storyteller, Jenna uses her voice to bridge youth perspectives with decision-makers. By day, she works in the non-profit sector supporting people with intellectual disabilities, and she’s currently in her third year studying Family Studies. A community volunteer, gym lover, and multi-title pageant queen across Atlantic Canada, Jenna spends her free time exploring coffee shops, restoring thrifted Build-A-Bears, and making sand crafts because advocacy should sparkle, too.
