The 3rd Annual IMPaCT Summit was held in Toronto, Ontario, and brought together fellows, mentors, patient partners, and stakeholders from across Canada. IMPaCT’s focus on emerging methodologies and equity in research was explored through sessions on the role of artificial intelligence in clinical trials, diversity and inclusion from study design through to implementation, the continued exclusion of pregnant and lactating people from trials, and strategies for matching statistical methods to clinical questions. The Summit reaffirmed IMPaCT's commitment to training researchers who are not only methodologically rigorous, but equity-minded and prepared to tackle the most pressing gaps in maternal and paediatric clinical research in Canada.
