The inaugural IMPaCT Summit brought together 37 collaborators from 23 organizations in Halifax, Nova Scotia for IMPaCT's first strategic planning meeting. This foundational gathering set the direction for the entire program, establishing shared goals, co-creating the curriculum, and defining the values that would guide the network forward.
The 2023 Summit affirmed IMPaCT's ambition to become internationally recognized as a leader in maternal and pediatric clinical trials, to build a pan-Canadian network of experienced mentors, to make trials more patient- and family-centered, and to grow the number of clinical trialists across Canada.
