Marsha Campbell-Yeo

Dr. Marsha Campbell-Yeo, a Ph.D. prepared neonatal nurse practitioner, is a Full Professor at the School of Nursing, Faculty of Health, Dalhousie University, and a clinician scientist at IWK Health. The focus of her research lab, MOM-LINC (Mechanisms, Outcome and Mobilization of Maternally-Led Interventions to Improve Newborn Care) is to examine innovative interventions to improve outcomes of medically at-risk newborns and their families specifically related to pain, stress, and neurodevelopment, and the effectiveness of digital solutions to increase parental engagement in the NICU. Involving patients and parents in research teams and mentoring the next generation of child health researchers are two of her greatest passions. She lives near the ocean and loves paddle boarding, kayaking, boating, and long hikes with her husband, two children, and golden doodle.
