Dr. Tasmia Hai is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology at McGill University. She is a school and clinical psychologist with a background in child and adolescent psychology. She holds a Ph.D. in School and Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Alberta. Her research focuses on helping immigrant families, especially minorities, with mental health programs. She also studies ADHD through a multimodal lens using both cognitive and neuroimaging modalities. Driven by her personal experiences as an immigrant person of colour, Dr. Hai is passionately engaged in research endeavours that highlight the strengths and resilience inherent within immigrant communities. Through her work, she aims to foster inclusive and supportive environments that empower immigrant families, thereby contributing to the advancement of mental health and well-being on both individual and societal levels.
