Danielle Baribeau

Dr. Baribeau is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and early career clinician scientist at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in Toronto. I completed my clinical training in child and adolescent psychiatry in 2019, and my PhD in clinical epidemiology in 2022, both at the University of Toronto. In my current position, I provide clinical care to children and youth with intellectual disabilities or autism, with a focus in rare genetic neurodevelopmental disorders, and psychopharmacology. My research program is focused on clinically translating genetic advances into improved mental health care in autism and neurodevelopmental conditions, through innovative clinical trials and health administrative data research. I am also the lead of the Ontario Provincial Genetics Program expert group for genetic testing in neurodevelopmental disorders, a parent to three young children in the west end of Toronto.
