Fabiana Bacchini

Fabiana is the parent of a surviving twin born prematurely at 26 weeks, leaving a lasting impact of cerebral palsy. But instead of allowing adversity to hold her back, Fabiana turned her personal journey into a mission to transform the landscape of care for preterm babies and their families.

While her son fought in the NICU, Fabiana participated in the Family Integrated Care research study. Inspired by the power of this model, she became an ambassador of FICare. Her passion for knowledge mobilization ignited, and she vowed to bridge the gap between scientific inquiry and practical application, particularly for the well-being of preterm infants and their families.

Drawing from her background as a broadcast journalist, Fabiana combines storytelling to empower others. Her life coaching training adds a unique dimension to her work, providing support to those she collaborates with.

But Fabiana's passion for life extends beyond the realm of research. With a zest for adventure, she has lived in four different countries, immersing herself in diverse cultures. You can often find her indulging in film festivals and exploring global cuisine.

Fabiana's journey exemplifies resilience, compassion, and the unwavering pursuit of transforming research into meaningful change. As a voice for the NICU babies and their families, she strives to create a world where every premature baby receives the care and support they deserve.
