Lauren Kelly
Dr. Lauren Kelly is an Early Career Researcher and Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at the University of Manitoba. She is a Certified Clinical Research Professional and serves as the Clinical Trials Director for the Children's Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba. Dr. Kelly completed a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Western Ontario and 2 postdoctoral fellowships at Mount Sinai and the Hospital for Sick Children. Dr. Kelly is the Principal Investigator for the Clinical Pharmacology Lab and her research program evaluates drug safety and effectiveness in children, lactation and during pregnancy. She has authored more than 60 publications in this field and holds more than $7 million in funding from a variety of public agencies, including holding both a SickKids-CIHR and Research Manitoba New Investigator Award.
