Mandy Archibald

Dr. Mandy Archibald is a nurse-researcher, artist, and Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing, University of Manitoba; Research Scientist with the Child Health Research Institute of Manitoba; and a Senior Research Fellow with Flinders University, South Australia. As an applied research methodologist, she develops and applies technological and arts-based innovations to promote family involvement in pediatric health research using mixed methods research approaches. Studio practice is an integral part of her work and she is passionate about the integration of diverse knowledge systems in the construction and use of knowledge. She has published over 60 articles and book chapters and was recently awarded CIHR-Sick Kids and Research Manitoba New Investigator Awards for her pioneering work on living labs for child health. In her spare time, she can be found chasing after her 3 girls and packing up the family camper to enjoy the gorgeous Manitoba summers.
