Michelle Wan
Michelle Wan is a mother of two teenage children and strongly believes in the value of including individuals with lived experience in planning, implementation, and evaluation processes. She is a member of the SickKids Family Advisory Network, serves on the Engagement Council for the CHILD-BRIGHT Network, and is a patient partner with SKIP (Solutions for Kids in Pain). Professionally, Michelle began her career in the music and media industries before transitioning to healthcare, where she worked in medical education with the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto and at Janssen Canada. She is now self-employed and focuses on initiatives that advance meaningful patient engagement in research and foster collaborative partnerships to strengthen health systems.
