Prosper Komolafe
Prosper Komolafe is a BSc, Exercise and Health Physiology student at the University of Calgary with a strong interest in translational research that bridges clinical science and real-world patient care. He previously worked at the O’Brien Institute for Public Health, contributing to studies examining how clinical and social determinants shape health outcomes for diverse populations through data collection, literature synthesis, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Prosper also works as an Emergency Medical Responder, where he applies evidence-informed approaches to patient assessment, monitoring, and continuity of care in prehospital settings. He is the Co-Founder and Co-President of Health Equity for All (HE4L), a student-led initiative advancing equitable healthcare access through research, policy, and community engagement. Across these roles, Prosper is committed to translating research into meaningful, patient-centred improvements in maternal and child health and promoting inclusive clinical research that reflects the needs of diverse families and communities.
